THINGS I LOVE TO DO
What is her perfect Day?
Alexandra Andrews, M.S. Ed, Director of Education at Key Academy International is an up-and-coming education professional and a Key Rat. She took time from her busy schedule to talk about growing up in Key Biscayne.
My Key Biscayne
As I reflect back on the twenty-three years I spent growing up and living on Key Biscayne I feel sheer gratitude. I was truly fortunate to grow up in such a close knit and beautiful community, filled with many wonderful individuals. Today I am blessed to be working on Key Biscayne at Key Academy International, an incredible educational center founded by Dr. Carolyne St. Clair. Many of my family members, including my parents, also live on Key Biscayne so I have many reasons to constantly be on the gorgeous island.
My perfect day: As I drive over the Rickenbacker Causeway Bridge, I am in awe of the tropical blue waters that surround me. I take a moment to feel gratitude that I am able to make this beautiful drive into work. I drop in to say a quick hello to my lovely parents Frank and Megan Andrews who are both long time Key Rats, and then make my way to work. As I am working I am greeted by the many kind-hearted educators, students, and clients who are part of the Key Academy International family. I spend quality time teaching my outstanding students. When the work day is done, and I make my drive back home, I feel such happiness to know that I get to do it all again the next day.
