Moon Viewing at Deering Estate

Moon Viewing at Deering Estate

7 to 9 pm. Friday. The Southern Cross Astronomical Society (SCAS) presents a Moon Viewing at the Deering Estate. This Moon is generally known as the Wolf Moon. Bring a picnic and chairs / blanket to enjoy a relaxing evening with family and friends as you watch the moon over Biscayne Bay. Outdoor Ice-Skating Rink at Jungle Island

10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Start a new SoFla tradition to kick off 2020. Park visitors can now ice-skate in shorts and a t-shirt at Miami’s only outdoor ice skating rink in the heart of a tropical jungle. The nearly one-acre long rink is made of real ice and is decked out in decorations, reminiscent of a Winter Wonderland. Open now through March 2. Jungle island, 1111 Parrot Jungle Trail. The Pout Pout Fish: Family Fun Series

The Pout Pout Fish Family Fun Series

Shows at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday. Swim along with pouty Mr. Fish and his friends in this new musical adventure. Utilizing live actors and puppets, this colorful adaptation of The New York Times bestseller is sure to turn the poutiest of frowns upside down. This brand-new production is being co-conceived, directed and designed by the acclaimed puppeteers of AchesonWalsh Studios.

Wynwood Art Walk

6 to 10 p.m. Saturday. What kid does not love to take selfies with the graffiti walls behind them? The Wynwood Art Walk, held the second Saturday of the month, bring together art, street performances, music and a full lineup of food trucks for a night of fun and creativity for the entire family. Free Family Fun Fest at Biscayne National Park

1 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Family Fun Fest is a free public program at Biscayne National Park. Discover different aspects of the park’s diverse resources highlighted at five hands-on activity stations around the Dante Fascell Visitor Center at the Park.
