BEST BETS

HA: IND

The Colts lost a heartbreaker last week in Pittsburgh when their icon of a placekicker Adam Vinatieri couldn't convert a game-winning field goal at the end and find themselves tied again atop the AFC South with the Texans. While the Dolphins busted into the win column last week, knocking off the Jets, that's certainly not what you'd call a quality win, and there is little doubt about which of these two is the superior club. The 11 points the Dolphins are getting here just doesn't seem like enough to balance the ledger, so take the Colts and relax while they win this one by at least 17.

AA: BAL

Poor Ryan Finley. The 0-8 Bengals are throwing the fourth-round rookie into the fire in an awfully tough spot, even if he had two weeks to prepare for one of the NFL's top defensive backfields and a unit that's slowly finding its footing overall. It's a different story for the Bengals' sieve run 'D,' which figures to have zero answers for the Ravens' voluminously dynamic Lamar Jackson-led option offense that makes the opposition wrong — even when it's right. Trap game for Baltimore coming off back-to-back signature wins? I don't see it.

LAST WEEK'S RESULTS (su / ats / best bets)

HA: 9-4 / 6-6-1 / 1-0

AA: 8-5 / 6-6-1 / 0-1

SEASON RESULTS

HA: 81-44-1 / 56-69 / 3-6

AA: 77-48-1 / 58-67 / 6-3
