Novak, Roger and Maria Take Center Stage Tuesday

If you’re into stargazing, then Stadium Court is the place to be for Tuesday’s day session in the 2014 Sony Open Tennis tournament. No. 2 seed Novak Djokovic will be in action for just the second time this tournament as he takes on No. 16 Tommy Robredo with a quarterfinal berth on the line. Djokovic won his last match in a walkover.

Following that match, No. 4 Maria Sharapova faces eighth seed Petra Kvitova in a women’s quarterfinal match. No. 6 seed and defending Sony Open champion Andy Murray takes the court next, in another big tilt against 11 seed and Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

The last match of the day session should also be a beauty, as 17-time Grand Slam winner Roger Federer looks to advance to the quarterfinals against No. 9 seed Richard Gasquet.

It’s a day of big matchups, so be sure to get your tickets for the Sony Open today.
