Just as they have done for the last 34 years, friends and families gathered on the last Sunday in April for the annual Eileen McCaughan Memorial Scholarship Fund Pasta Dinner, a fundraiser to honor the memory of Eileen McCaughan, who was killed by a drunk driver when she was 15.

The event, organized by the Key Biscayne Community Foundation and a group of volunteers, raises funds to award scholarships for deserving students in need. Since its inception, the EMMSF has granted over 300 scholarships amounting to close to $500,000.
